I was doing well, pushed my account up to $70 from the $50 start. Then something happened, and I'm not entirely sure what.
On the $0.20 tables I had two terrible losses in a row, dropping back down to $50 rather quickly. I played some more and couldn't seem to make any gains again.
Then I rather foolishly decided to go up to the higher $0.50 tables -- though it isn't entirely my fault, there aren't so many open tables on Doyle's Room. I took a standard buy-in of $20 and was doing alright.
It took a sudden downturn as I realized I wasn't willing to call enough. I felt a bit outside of my bankroll. So one time I build up the courage to call a few good hands, only to lose. No sweat. It happens.
At some point however I realized I was ridiculously short stacked, like $5 left and had no idea how I dropped so low. Obviously I wasn't holding my own at this table. As a parting gift I was given a pair of kings, went all-in preflop, and lost.
I'll have to go back down a few tables and build up the money again. *sigh*
