Ties come up often enough, and three way ties come up occasionally, but a five way tie is new to me. The board shows a nice palindrome:

And all of us just completely missed our flop. Normally I'd attempt at least a minimal bet on such things (I held ), but I was mid position and there were four other players. My chances seemed slim.

On the turn the pair of queens just convinced me somebody might be slowplaying, so I decided to just check. So did everybody else.

The second pair on the river ensured a slowplay if somebody actually had a winning hand. But we just all checked through and we were each returned our BB entry.
